He married (1) REBECCA LEVERETT Abt. 1780 in Wilkes Co., GA, daughter of WILLIAM LEVERETT and BRIDGETT. She was born Abt. 1747 in Amelia Co., VA, and died Aft. April 23, 1800. He married (2) MARTHA NICHOLS December 30, 1821 in Jasper Co., GA. She was born Abt. 1780 in SC, and died in Marion Co., AL.

Notes: George received a pension for his service during the Revolutionary War. He is buried at Old Hopewell Cemetery.

THOMAS TUCKER was born October 02, 1784 in Wilkes Co., GA, and died October 29, 1862 in Union Parrish, LA. He married AMY BEAIRD Abt. 1807 in Baldwin Co., GA, daughter of EDMUND BEAIRD and SARAH PAGE. She was born June 06, 1792 in Wayne Co., NC, and died May 11, 1869 in Union Parrish, LA.

Notes: Many members of this branch moved to Union Parish, LA sometime after 1850. Thomas, Amy and several members of the family are buried at Zion Hill Cemetery in Farmerville.
