From: The Birmingham News, Saturday, April 2, 1988: Robert H. Arbuckle, Sr., 63, of Birmingham, died Wednesday. He was employed with Dockery Electric, a veteran of World War II, and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Funeral was today at Crestview, Adamsville, with burial in Lynn's Crossing Cemetery. Survivors include 3 sons, Robert H. Arbuckle, Jr., Shreveport, La.; Clifton Arbuckle, Burton, Michigan; and Michael Arbuckle, Broomfield, Colorado; a daughter, Miss Barbara Arbuckle, Michigan City, Ind.; 5 sisters, Mrs. Ruth A. Martin, Mrs. Geraldine Kitchens, Mrs. Tommie E. Harrison, Mrs. Susie B. Jones, and Mrs. Mary Ann Abney, all of Birmingham; and a brother, Archie P. Arbuckle, Adamsville.

Sherry Allen Dulion
From: The Birmingham News, Thursday, June 4, 1992: Mrs. Sherry A. Dulion, 47, of Decatur, Ga died Tuesday. She was a former resident of Birmingham. Funeral will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday at Roebuck Chapel with burial in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Charlie Raymond Mims
From: Chilton County News, Thursday, December 18, 1975: Charlie Raymond Mims, age 90, died December 11 at Selma. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Ada Friday Mims, Selma; 3 daughters, Mrs. A. M. Brown, Mobile, Mrs. Wayne Jordan, Huntsville, Mrs. Douglas Smith, Houston, TX; 3 sons, Kenneth Benson, Selma, Johnnie Mims, Birmingham, Charlie Mims, Demopolis; one sister, Mrs. Emma Stewart, Guntersville; one brother, A. E. Mims, Clanton. Services were held December 13 at Pleasant Grove Methodist Protestant Church with Rev. C. N. Graham the officiating minister. Lawrence Funeral Home of Selma in charge.

Raymond Daniel Rockett, Jr.
From: The Birmingham News, Wednesday, January 24, 1973: Raymond Daniel Rockett, Jr., 45, of Morris, who died Monday, was a native of Jefferson County and a disabled veteran of the Korean War. Funeral service was today at Brown-Service Norwood, with military services at the graveside in Friendship Cemetery. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Gary Ingram of Birmingham; his mother and stepfather, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. K. Atkinson of Winfield; a sister, Mrs. Ruby Palmer of Birmingham; a brother, Larry Dale Rockett of Birmingham.

Herschel Lee Spinks

He was a retired bus driver for the Birmingham Transit Authority, a retired employee of the University of Alabama at Birmingham and a member of Fairfield Baptist Church, Leisure Club and Birmingham Transit Union. Funeral will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday at Elmwood Chapel with burial in Elmwood. Inez Wesson Sykes
From: The Birmingham News, Sunday, September 21, 1997: Mrs. Inez Wesson Sykes, age 80, of Mountain Brook, passed away on September 19, 1997. Mrs. Sykes was a member of the Woodlawn Methodist Church. Survivors include: daughter, Sondra Sykes Smaha; son-in-law, Donald Smaha; grandson, John Wesson Smaha; granddaughter-in-law, Robyn Smaha. Graveside service will be Sunday, Spetember 21 at 2:30 p.m., at Elmwood Cemetery.

Ferrell P. Youngblood
Funeral for Ferrell P. Youngblood, 78, Graysville, who died Friday in a local hospital, will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Graysville Church of God. Burial will be in Lawler Cemetery near Sumiton. Mr. Youngblood, born at Palos, was a retired miner in Kentucky. He returned to the Birmingham area after retirement. Mr. Youngblood is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ida Pearl Youngblood; a son, Ferrell J. Youngblood of Warren, Mich.; five daughters, Mrs. Mildred Mullins of Carbon Hill, Mrs. Louise Phillips and Mrs. Margrette Hagood of Birmingham, Mrs. Shirley Lovvin of Bowden, Ga., and Mrs. Olivia Meeks of Frostproof, Fla.; two stepsons, Milford Carver of Lakeland, Fla., and Donald Carver of Marietta, Ga.; three stepdaughters, Mrs. Joy Trimm of Houston, Tex., Mrs. Jean Eady of Chicago, Ill., and Mrs. Shirley Landgraft of Houston; a brother, Ulysse Youngblood of Hueytown; four sisters, Mrs. Minnie Ireland of Indiana, Mrs. Nora Brasfield of Westwood, Mrs. Dora Kennerly of Crumly Chapel and Mrs. Velma McAlister of Graysville./b>
