Massey Cemetery
Located in Jefferson County, Alabama. Directions: From Birmingham, take I59 North to Exit 148, Argo. Turn left onto Liles Lane for 3.2 miles. Turn left onto (rough) dirt road. Follow approximately 0.3 miles to end of road. Cemetery is on the left. The dirt road is in poor, but passable, condition and has been used as a dumping ground. The cemetery itself is in good condition and is fenced but not locked. A sign inside the cemetery reads: Jeffeson County Historical Commission; Historic Site; Massey Cemetery - 1899; First Grave 1829. Entries within quotes are inscriptions that were noted.
