Sallie Inez Adams

From: The Selma Times Journal, Monday, August 9, 1926
Death claimed Mrs. Sallie Inez Adams, 25, at midnight Sunday night in a Selma hospital where for two weeks past she had been under treatment. Mrs. Adams was the daughter of W. E. Friday now of Quincy, Florida and formerly of Plantersville. She was reared in Plantersville and was a member of Old Fellowship Baptist Church. Funeral arrangements have not been completed pending the arrival of absent relatives. The immediate family consists of the father, W. E. Friday, a brother, Leonard Friday, also of Quincy, Florida, and three sisters, Miss Annie Mae Friday, Mrs. Ada Benson, and Mrs. C. C. Abrams, all of Plantersville.



Oscar D. Adams


From a local Chilton County Newspaper, Dated October 6, 1938:
Oscar D. Adams, age 49, Maplesville, died Saturday at the Veteran's Hospital in Tuscaloosa. Burial was at Maplesville Cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Velma Headley Adams, 2 sons, his Mother, Mrs. William Adams, 5 sisters, and 3 brothers. His Mother, Mrs. Mary Harrison Adams was born in England.



James P. Adams


James P. Adams, 62, of Birmingham, died Friday, September 23, 1983. He was a machine operator at Pullman Standard. Funeral services were held on Sunday, Sept. 25 at Rice's Chapel Baptist Church with burial in the adjoining cemetery. Rev. Winfred Owens officiated. He is survived by one daughter, Linda Sue Dickey of Hammond, Ind.; one sister, Ruth Tucker, of Birmingham; three grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
